Vetiver is frequently used in perfumes because of its luscious scent.  The Vetiver plant is a grass with complex root systems that link together to prevent erosion.  
Because of this root system, Vetiver carries the energy of deep grounding and community as all the tendrils create this web of protection and unity.  
This oil often asks to be used with couples to strengthen the ties that bond them together and energize those romantic vibes.  
I use this oil on myself when I want to relish how delicious and wonderful life is- to ground and connect myself with the human experience.
